"Love is the energy of life." Robert Browning
I believe there's beauty in everyone, and it's my job to capture it. I am in love with what I do, because I get to document so many magical moments in this wonderful life we get in a way people can enjoy for generations to come.
I realize there are a TON of photographers out there, so why choose me? Well, if you're reading this, then hopefully you've already seen some of my work and like my style of portraiture. The images I capture are not by accident! Depending on what type of session I'm shooting, I will guide you very strategically in a way that makes you look your best! I will never leave you to awkwardly figure out what to do yourself; but I also don't stiffly pose you for every shot. I like to play games with little ones and elicit natural responses while guiding & directing the entire time.
Once I've finished editing your images, you get to come to the studio to do an in person reveal where you can view your proofs side by side, zoomed in, narrowed down, and I can help you decide exactly what you would like to do with your portraits. I have 10+ years experience in retouching, image/album/card design, and will answer any questions you have. I offer lots of different products and love getting families that big wall portrait they've always dreamed of having of their loved ones. I even have software with the capability to show you what size portrait would look best on your actual wall! As a professional photographer, my goal is to deliver finished art to my clients instead of having them try to figure out on their own what to order, where to get it printed, & how to crop it. I take care of ALL of that for you!
I love a lot of things... topping the list is God, my amazing supportive husband, our little girl who is seriously the sweetest thing, our super-giggly baby boy who will always be "the baby" even when he's much, much older, and our two cuddly dogs. Saturdays in the fall you'll find us watching football (Go Dawgs!!). My husband & I met at UGA and got married at the UGA Chapel, so Athens will always hold a special place in my heart! I also love our new home in Sharpsburg, GA where we just moved to from Senoia. It's not far from where we were, but the kids have a lot more space to run around, swim, and I now have a space for a legit indoor studio as well as outdoor setups! SO excited for the new business space!!
Thank you for showing interest in my work & life! I'll leave you with a quote that perfectly describes what photography does for me, and what I hope this art can do for you...
"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts, and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope to give you forever." The Notebook
