"Love is the energy of life." Robert Browning

I believe there's beauty in everyone, and it's my job to capture it.  I am in love with what I do, because I get to document so many magical moments in this wonderful life we get, and in a way people can enjoy for generations to come.

I realize there are a TON of photographers out there, so why choose me?  Well, if you're reading this, then maybe you've already seen my work and like my style of portraiture.  The images I capture are not by accident...  Depending on what type of session we're doing, I will guide you very strategically in a way that makes you look your absolute best!  I will never leave you to awkwardly figure out what to do in front of the camera; but I also don't stiffly pose you for every shot (unless you need that-- then I do whatever it takes to make you look natural, ha!).  I enjoy playing games with little ones & groups in order to elicit natural responses while guiding & directing the entire time.

Seven to ten days after your session you get to come to the studio to do a fun in person reveal where you can view your edited proofs in a relaxed atmosphere & easily choose your favorites to keep.  I have 10+ years experience in retouching & album design, and will answer any questions you have.  I offer lots of different products and love creating the impact pieces of portrait art you've always dreamed of having in your home.  My state of the art software even allows me to show you what size portraits would look best on your actual wall!

I love a lot of things... topping the list is God, my amazing supportive husband, our little girl who is seriously the sweetest thing, our super-giggly baby boy who will always be "the baby" even when he's much, much older, and our two cuddly dogs.  Saturdays in the fall you'll find us watching football (Go Dawgs!!).  My husband & I met at UGA and got married at the UGA Chapel, so Athens will always hold a special place in my heart!  I also love our new home in Sharpsburg, GA where we just moved to from Senoia.  It's not far from where we were, but the kids have a lot more space to run around, swim, and I now have a space for a legit indoor studio as well as outdoor setups! SO excited for the new business space!!

Thank you for showing interest in my work & life!  I'll leave you with a quote that perfectly describes what photography does for me, and what I hope this art can do for you...

"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts, and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope to give you forever." The Notebook
